I was looking for something completely different when I stumbled upon this, on the wild Internet.

Listen, Rush
What I love about this is that even though clearly the First Lady herself had nothing to do with this, it is utterly believable. Through the course of her husband’s campaign, she set herself up as the sort of woman who would defend what mattered to her against all comers, period. It’s funny… but you know it’s true. And that is something to admire. Go Michelle.

I haven’t said a lot about it here, but in March, I’ll be presenting at the Controversies in Childbirth conference in Dallas, TX.
The PR person for the conference interviewed me briefly, and posted the results on the blog (which I just found, sigh) here: http://birthconference.wordpress.com/2008/12/18/getting-heard-by-18-35-year-olds/
I would deeply appreciate it if you all would mosey on over there, and pick some stuff to comment on. My post would be nice, but really, there’s a lot of meat for discussion. I think this conference is going to have some valuable things to say, and possibly some really good outcomes. OTOH, it might end up just being a slugfest. Hard to tell. =)
