Apart from their scientific purposes, in our house they are always required for any injury - not to place on the bump as would be expected, but to be taken orally LOL The simple things of greatest use with my kids at the moment are bottle tops, most collected from the litter at the parks we are frequenting. The bottle tops are anything from babies and dolls, cars to animals, houses to planes, for building towers, tors for hopscotch, plates, baskets, an item to hide or something to wrap in leaves and care for...
