He Crawls!!!!!
WAHOO!!! Yesterday, despite teething and a yucky cold, Mr. Kestrel S. Hudson crawled two whole …steps? Is that what they’re called when it’s crawling? Anyway, we’re all terribly impressed. And truth to tell, I’m also a little panicked. Crawling before the first tooth is out? Egads!
The motivation for this forward motion was, unsurprisingly, trying to get to his big brother, who was sitting at the end of the couch. I can see that in the future, Rowan will end up being the motivation for many of Kestrel’s mighty leaps.
What an incredibly awesome, humbling thing.
Yay baby boy!!! Sophia did the same, crawled at 5.5 months before any teeth or hair! Then walked 1 day after her 9 month bday. So get ready mama for one accelerated achieving boy…of course apples don’t fall far from trees, as they say!

That big brother worship can be a little scary too, especially when big brother is making big grown up goofs!
