The owner/pilot but his boat on a course for a channel bouy about some 10 NM away and then went below for coffee, paper, whatever. Lo and behold - proving the accuracy of both his charting system and the GPS -- the boat runs up on the bouy, holing the damn thing and promptly sinking the multi million dollar toy. It looks like some idiot programmed in "Bay Bridge tower" as a way point and then walked off to the crapper.
