Crazy in the Caribbean; not this boat either
So, Phil the Philosophical and his sidekick Alexis the Wonder Broker found another Cassamance to assuage our loss with. She was sitting in St. Martin, and she was lovely. I was immediately taken (OK, irrationally) with the wineglass racks prominent in the galley photos. Her owner was a Frenchman.
With Alexis’ help, we crafted an offer. Sent it along. And her offended owner countered… with more than his asking price.
I suppose it’s always better to find out that a seller is not wired to code in advance of purchase; goodness knows what else might have been fishy about the deal.
So… not this boat either. More’s the pity. Two strikes… I wonder if it’s us?
